PRIVACY NOTICE

The RGA is committed to protecting any personal data you share with us. We aim to be clear about how and why we process your personal data.

 

1. Who we are

“RGA” refers to the Reading Guild of Artists, Reg. Charity No. 296307

Throughout this notice, “we” and “us” refer to the RGA, which is run by its Executive Council.

The RGA does not have a postal address.

In this notice, “websites” refers to all RGA websites and email under the domain names rga-artists.org.uk (this website) and rgartevents.uk which are registered by their respective webmasters.

The type of information we may collect and hold about you:

  • • email address

  • • date joined

  • • type of membership

  • • date left

  • • records of your correspondence with us

  • • bank details

  • • donation and gift aid details

  • • details of what RGA activities you are interested in

We may collect information about you when you give it to us directly:

  • • to become a member and renewing membership

  • • to take part in an activity such as an exhibition, workshop or other event

  • • when you volunteer with us

  • • when you donate to us

  • • when you respond to a survey

We may link our websites directly to other sites. This Privacy Notice does not cover external websites and we are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to read the privacy notices of any external websites you visit.

  • • provide you with other information which we feel may interest you

We do not sell your information under any circumstances.

You have a right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you. If you want to access your personal data, please send a description of the personal data you want to see and proof of your identity.

You have the right to request that your personal data is erased from our records in certain circumstances.
