26 Sept 2008 Life model : Bring appropriate media. Studio
10 Oct John Pumfrey returns to encourage work in any medium to create pictures which give composite images and mixed impressions. Bring sketch books, images of towns and landscapes. Studio
24 Oct Owen Andrew will demonstrate how to do kitchen sink etching and printing using non-toxic materials. Some of us will be able to take part in the demonstration. Studio
7 Nov Life model : Bring appropriatre media. Studio
21 Nov Jenny Halstead has invited her Morris Man to sit for a costume class, and will tutor. Any medium. Studio
5 Dec Roxana Tohaneanu-Shields will present a Romanian Rhapsody investigating the current trends in Romanian art. Followed by the Christmas party. Room M2

Untutored painting sessions. Workshop projects will be generated
by attending members on a rotation basis. £3 for each 3 hour session, 1-4pm
Alternate Tuesdays: 2008:Sept 16 and 30, Oct 14 and 28, Nov 11 and 25, Dec 9
2009: Jan 6 and 20, Feb 3 and 17, Mar 17 and 31, Apr 21, May 5 and 19
All RGA members and their painting friends welcome. Please bring your painting equipment. Tables, chairs, hot water & cups are provided. From Rushey Way take Kilnsea Drive, turn into Maiden Place - bear right toward Community Centre and car parks. Function Room is on the ground floor.

 

Caversham Workshops, School Lane, Caversham, RG4 8HX (next to Waitrose)
Daytime sessions, Monday 2.00 to 4.30 pm at the Caversham Centre. Tables and easels are provided. There is a sink. Members £3, Visitors £6. Waitrose car park is 2 hours only, but you may find a space in the Caversham Centre car park. So far a local group has been building up that helps each artist develop in an atmosphere of support and constructive criticism, so even if a particular topic doesn't appeal, come along anyway and bring some work in progress. You can work on your own piece and, if you wish, invite comments from your fellow artists.

Outdoor Painting and Drawing Days Informal group visits in the summer, Saturdays 10.30am - 4.30pm
